TJ Falls is a Visual Effects Executive and Visual Effects Producer currently working in London.

Falls specializes in producing large scale and complex productions with a heavy reliance on Visual Effects.

Recently, TJ served as the Visual Effects Producer for Andor, the critically acclaimed Disney+ Star Wars series, a role for which he was recognized with an Emmy and BAFTA nomination in the show’s first season.

His most recent theatrical release, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, recently grossed more than $1 billion and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.  The project was an interdepartmental collaboration utilizing old-school traditional techniques along with cutting edge visual technology during the production.

Falls thrives on approaching the challenges of filmmaking with unique methodologies specific to each particular project.  Constantly on the forefront of emerging technologies his innovative approaches and close partnerships with vendors worldwide took a practical approach to the iconic Kessel Run using front and rear projection on Solo: A Star Wars Story. 2016’s Rogue One: A Story Wars Story, was a ground breaking project which brought back to life Peter Cushing’s legendary character Grand Moff Tarkin.  Falls takes great pride that each project he takes on brings a new way of furthering the visual effects craft with new technologies and new efficiencies being built and developed unique for each film.

Prior to moving to London, Falls produced visual effects on the Academy Award nominated films Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Trek: Into Darkness, and Real Steel.

Falls’ other credits include Avengers: Age of Ultron, Shutter Island, and A Thousand Words.  Earlier in his career, Falls worked in Production at Paramount Pictures and before that he worked as a commercial actor appearing in national campaigns for Champs Sports, AT&T Wireless, and Toyota.

Falls is an active member of the Visual Effects Society.
